CIRCOR International, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of differentiated technology products and sub-systems, announced its Chameleon Pump for the paints and coatings industry.

The Chameleon Pump minimizes downtime by offering quick and effective flushability, allowing for rapid changes between different paint colors and types. Its rotary-spur gears facilitate a smooth and continuous flow, eliminating the need for check valves, accumulators and complex hydraulic circuitry that often introduce operational hassles and extra costs.

The Chameleon Pump offers an integrated active flowmeter which provides closed-loop speed control of precise components, ensuring accurate flow control without the necessity for a secondary flowmeter, thereby simplifying the system.

The pump maintains stable and repeatable flow control, reliably handling variations in temperature, viscosity and pressure. The Chameleon Pump also integrates a leak-free triple lip-seal design that provides redundant sealing, which significantly reduces maintenance needs compared to traditional packing or face seals.

This feature ensures a cleaner and safer operational environment. A double seal arrangement with barrier fluid reservoir, ideal for isocyanate applications, is also available.

The Zenith Chameleon Pump is compact, measuring only 2.5" x 1.9" and weighing between 2 and 2.5 pounds.
