Thomas & Betts (Memphis, TN) has announced the Color-Keyed HEX-FLEX crimping dies to provide an inspectable, high-performance crimp on flex-conductor cables. The dies create a hex-style crimp on the top of the connector, and an indent crimp in the bottom for superior pull-out resistance. The HEX-FLEX dies are color-coded for easy matching to help eliminate costly errors, and create a UL-listed, CSA-certified connection. The dies are made from high-carbon tool steel with black oxide plating for added durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life.
