Grote Industries (Madison, IN) has developed a new version of its Trilliant 36 LED WhiteLight Conversion Bulb, which is designed to operate in adverse conditions where sodium chloride, high humidity, and other corrosive elements wreak havoc on most PAR 36 incandescent work lamps. The new design includes a more robust Packard Metripack 150 connector that resists moisture and chemical intrusion. The Trilliant bulbs are manufactured with hard-coated polycarbonate lenses that can be replaced if damaged. Other features include a 40,000-hour service life and a lifespan 100 times longer than a traditional PAR 36 bulb, according to the company.
