Eaton Corporation (Cleveland, OH) has announced that its UNIBAG filterbag has received the Eaton “Green Leaf” symbol for sustainability because it provides environmental advantages over standard filter bags. The felt used in the polyester contains 40 to 60 percent recycled fibers without optical white additives. By eliminating the bleaching of the felt during the manufacturing process, Eaton is able to reduce the effects of damaging chemicals released into the waste stream.
