EYE Lighting International (Mentor, OH) has announced its Cera Arc 220W and 270W ceramic metal halide (CMH) lamps are recipients of 2012 IES Progress Report Awards. The EYE 220W Cera Arc CMH lamp offers up to 30,000 hours of life, with 95 percent maintained lumens and operates on a 250W pulse start MH magnetic ballast. Immediate energy savings can be achieved by simply replacing the 250W pulse start lamp, says the company, no ballast change out is required. It is rated for 26,500 initial lumens and 25,200 mean lumens. The EYE 270W Cera Arc CMH lamp offers up to 24,000 hours of life, 80 percent maintained lumens, and uses less wattage than standard quartz metal halide.
